Olivia Cacchione holds a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from Knox College, Master's degrees in Harp Performance and Music History from University of Washington, and a PhD in Musicology from Northwestern University. Her research deals with sound and music in the history of ghosts, occultists, and all things spooky. Her work has taken her to amazing archives across England and America, which inspired her passion for preservation and material history. She taught Music History at Northwestern during her time as a PhD candidate and loves making cultural history accessible and fun to all audiences. She joined Old Pine Conservancy in 2024.
